Poorak Aahar, an expansion pack to the Poshan game by Civic Games Lab, aimed at educating young mothers about nutrition and complementary feeding habits for themselves and their children. The game is built on the existing visual language of Poshan, maintaining consistency in training and gameplay, ensuring familiarity while introducing new elements to enhance learning and piquing interest.
An enhanced game expansion pack encourages the development of healthy habits among young mothers and children.
To achieve these goals, a new visual language was created for the game expansion, incorporating additional colors and card layouts. The information hierarchy was simplified to cater effectively to the target audience, blending familiar layouts with visual cues, to facilitate the consumption of new information. Icons from the original game were retained and integrated into the new layouts to lend a fresh perspective while maintaining continuity to the game logistics. The new cards were seamlessly integrated into the existing game system, preserving the same mechanics to ensure a cohesive and engaging gameplay experience.
